School is back in session with students returning to see familiar faces and some new ones. Most area schools experienced an increase in enrollment the beginning of this school year.
“Browerville opened its doors on September 4 with 557 students, the same number of students as a month prior. Throughout the month, students came and went. The only difference was that the elementary, for the second year in a row, passed the high school with enrollment,” said Browerville Superintendent Scott Vedbraaten.
In fact, the elementary started the year with 279 and there was 278 in 7-12. . . .
