The former CentraCare Health—Long Prairie Medical Campus isn’t sitting empty and idle as some may think it is.
In fact, very soon, the sounds of youngsters laughing and playing and learning will be filling the old therapy department that has been remodeled.
Tri County Community Action Partnership’s Head Start program will be filling that space with around 40 children from infants to pre-kindergarteners.
CCH—LP opened the original campus in 1956.
Much has changed since that humble beginning with multiple expansions and remodels.
Finally, in October of 2017, the new medical campus was opened.
But the question remained, what would become of the old facility? . . . .
