Two car collision results in property damage

On March 14, at 4:13 p.m., the Todd County Sheriff’s Office received a call about a two-vehicle property damage accident that occurred at the intersection of Leslie Avenue West and John Street in the city of Clarissa. Dennis Anderson, 71, Clarissa, reported that he was eastbound on Leslie Avenue West when he collided with Mary Anderson, 81, of Clarissa. Mary was southbound on John Street at the time. The Buick LeSabre Dennis was driving and the Ford Escape Mary was driving both received moderate damage as a result of the crash. After the initial impact, Mary’s Escape continued southeast and struck the David and Diane Kreidler residence at 109 Leslie Avenue West. The Kreidlers were inside the residence at the time but were not injured. Their house received moderate damage to the northwest corner. The incident is still under investigation.
