Is there a child care/daycare crisis in Todd County?
It really depends on who you ask.
At a recent meeting to address the perceived shortage, Landon McKay, a business development specialist with First Children’s Finance out of Minneapolis, shared what things they had uncovered in an initial study on child care in Todd County.
McKay said this was a complex issue and that right-sized solutions were important in order to move forward.
The meeting was well-attended with providers from around Todd County along with pastors, educators, concerned citizens and employers present. . . .
