The annual Walk the Plank fundraier was held on October 18 at the Verndale School. Elementary students enjoyed a variety of games including tug of war, pumpkin toss, sack races, football toss, bug (candy)eating contest, a stroll around the track, walking the plank and more. The school gathered on the football field and spelled out āVPSā for a picture. Contest winners were: First prize - Bryce Pickar, fourth grade, overnight stay at the Holiday Inn Express and four passes to the Three Bear Water

La recaudaciĆ³n de fondos anual Walk the Plank se llevĆ³ a cabo el 18 de octubre en la Escuela Verndale. Los estudiantes de primaria disfrutaron de una variedad de juegos que incluyeron tira y afloja, lanzamiento de calabazas, carreras de sacos, lanzamiento de fĆŗtbol, concurso de comer insectos (dulces), un paseo por la pista, caminar por la tablĆ³n y mĆ”s. La escuela se reuniĆ³ en el campo de fĆŗtbol y deletreĆ³ "VPS" para una foto. Los ganadores del concurso fueron: Primer premio: Bryce Pickar, cuarto grado, estadĆa de una noche en el Holiday Inn Express y cuatro pases para el parque acuĆ”tico Three Bear Water Park en Baxter. Segundo premio: Walker Tupper, primer grado, y Owen Weiher, segundo grado recibieron bicicletas nuevas. Tercer premio: Hannah Bartylla, sexto grado, y Zain Waldahl, cuarto grado recibieron una tarjeta de regalo de $50. Cuarto premio: Mia Arroyo, quinto grado y Tyson Fisher, jardĆn de infantes, ganaron pases para el cine en el Cozy Theatre en Wadena. Walk the Plank recaudĆ³ aproximadamente $7,600.
