The Hewitt City Hall is being remodeled. The purpose is to create more room inside the building for meetings and for safety purposes. The city clerk’s office was moved to the outside wall to create a hallway and a more spacious meeting area which includes new windows for the offices and additional doors added in case of an emergency. The cost for the remodel is approximately $8000 and will take about two weeks.
