Nearly 300 food shelves throughout Minnesota are preparing for the annual Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign. This state-wide grassroots effort restocks food shelves and helps meet hunger needs in communities in every county in Minnesota. 

    During the 2017 March Campaign, Minnesota FoodShare and local food shelves raised a combined $8 million and 4.7 million pounds of food.

    March has been identified by food shelf and hunger relief workers as a critical time of year. Donations drop following the winter holidays yet food insecurity and hunger remain persistent.

    The Minnesota FoodShare March Campaign encourages individuals, businesses, community organizations, faith communities, and local advocates to support their local food shelf during the month of March. Individuals and organizations can connect with their local food shelf. . . .
