Miracle on Bethlehem Street
Christ the King School presented their annual Christmas program on Friday, December 15 to a standing room only crowd.
This year’s program was “Miracle on Bethlehem Street,” and told the story of the innkeeper who saw the tax decree as a way to make a lot of money. The inn just happened to be full when Mary and Joseph arrived and they were only given a place in the stable for Mary to give birth to the Son of God.
The innkeeper tried to come up with a name for the inn. They went through names like Caesar’s Palace, Best Middle Eastern and finally decided on Motel VI! At right, Mary and Joseph and baby Jesus in the stable at Bethlehem. The story of the birth of the Son of God was brilliantly told once again.
After the program, the children and their guests could enjoy cookies and refreshments.
