Bertha-Hewitt students honor Veterans


The William Larson Post 366 stood at attention prior to presenting the colors. The Bertha-Hewitt School held a Veterans Day program on Monday, November 11 for the students, staff, public and Veterans. There were several student speakers including Anna Hegarty, Henry Lockwood and Kaija Weishalla. The senior high band performed The Star Spangled Banner and Armed Forces on Parade. The senior high/junior high choir performed Sing For America while the 5th and 6th grade

choir sang God Bless America. The honored special guest speaker was Matt Cardinal. After the program, Veterans and their spouses were welcomed to enjoy a lunch in their honor.
