2021 Old Wadena Rendezvous
The Old Wadena Rendezvous returned on August 14 and 15 at the Old Wadena County Park, north of Staples. The weekend was filled with live performances, demonstrations, and home-crafted goodies from soap to maple syrup. Blacksmith Mike Hoffmann spoke with onlookers about the blacksmithing process, beginning with a fire that is hot enough to be able to hammer metal to craft tools and more.
