A dream come true for Botello family

At left, David Botello posed happily as another of his dreams has come true—that of owning a family restaurant. He hopes to open Taqueria Las Juanitas over Labor Day weekend in Browerville (former Cafe 71 location).

David Botello is a man of few words. He is also a man of big dreams and a man who is willing to work hard to make those dreams come true.

It was in 2021 when he saw one of his big dreams come true when he was able to open Botello’s Mexican Market in Browerville. The store is located on Main Street in Browerville (the former Browerville Blade office).

About two months ago, he purchased a food truck so that he could serve and cater to the area communities.

“I didn’t expect the dream of owning my own restaurant to come true so quickly, though,” he said of being afforded the opportunity to open an authentic Mexican restaurant on Main Street in Browerville. . .
