A Matter of Perspective
Are you as tired of political inundation as I am?
You can’t move these days without bumping into something about politics.
One of my favorite Facebook people makes a lot of reels. One of them was quite simple and to the point:
Politics
Poli mean many
Tics meaning blood sucking parasites
I am fairly certain that the founding fathers didn’t envision the kind of garbage that goes on in politics today. I could be wrong, but it’s hard to envision George Washington calling out his opponents for being less than they appeared.
Things like abortion would not have been on the agenda. It probably wouldn’t have been a conversation that was held anywhere except behind closed doors.
Now it’s a major part of voting for a candidate.
Of course, I would not have been allowed to write this editorial and put my name to it, but I could have thought it.
With rights comes responsibilities. Many people are not up to the challenge of taking on the responsibilities that power and rights afford us.
I am still not sure who to vote for in this coming election. I need at least one more choice!
I feel like not only are the parasites sucking out my blood, but also my brain!
That might explain a lot of the political tactics!
Now you know.
