Aspengren’s passionate hobby is enjoyed by many

Former Eagle Bend native and now current Wadena resident, 85-year-old Wayne Aspengren sets up a unique display in his front yard once a year, either in the spring or fall for a week for others to hopefully enjoy.

These are more than just simple yard ornaments. Wayne has a passionate hobby for collecting International Harvester “Cub” tractors which he not only loves to talk about but is also extremely knowledgeable about them. His enthusiasm to show off these Cubs along with his large assortment of attachments is unsurpassed!

Wayne and his wife Carol moved to Fredrick, Maryland in 1992, where he drove a flatbed semi while Carol worked at the Postal Headquarters in Washington, D.C. . .
