Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Holiday Tournament
The Bears made the trip to Walker for a two-day holiday tournament. They would open the tournament with a win against the Wolves of Walker-Hackensack-Akeley 77-58 and advance to the championship game where the Bears would fall to a very talented Park Rapids team 81-53.
Facing W-H-A, the Bears engaged in a closely contested basketball showdown, trading baskets with the Wolves and starting the first half tied at 20-20. However, the Bears ignited offensively and tightened their defensive grip, embarking on a 23-0 run. This surge propelled them to a 45-30 halftime lead.
The Bears sustained their momentum in the second half, securing a decisive victory with a final score of 77-58. Their success was fueled by balanced scoring, with four players reaching double figures....
