The Bertha-Hewitt Bears football team faced a tough challenge on Friday night as they hosted the #1 ranked Nevis Tigers in Bertha. Despite being significantly short-handed, the Bears fought with everything they had, refusing to back down from the powerhouse Nevis squad. The final score was 56-14 in favor of the Tigers, but the game was a testament to the heart and grit of the Bears.

Nevis came out strong, capitalizing on their depth and experience, but Bertha-Hewitt never gave up. The Bears managed to punch in two touchdowns despite the Tigers’ stout defense, showcasing their resilience....
