Bears fall to Trojans in offensive shootout

The Bertha-Hewitt Bears traveled to Ortonville to take on the 1-1 Trojans. Ortonville lies on the western side of the state, two and a half hours away from Bertha-Hewitt.

The Trojans started out with a three-play touchdown drive, which ended up being the trend the entire evening.

“We couldn’t find an answer to their power run game all night,” said Coach Hoemberg.

Ortonville added another score and put the Bears down early, much like the previous week against the Sebeka Trojans. But this time Ortonville remained on top throughout the game, outpacing the Bears and staying one step ahead. . .
