Bears finish in 14th place: Rach takes 15th place and earns All-State honors

The Bertha-Hewitt Boys Cross Country team traveled to the Les Bolstad Golf Course on the University of Minnesota Campus for the state class A Cross Country Championships on Saturday November 2.
The Bears ran on a challenging course and finished in 14th place out of the 16 teams competing.
Top finisher for the team was Brady Rach who captured All-State honors by finishing in 15th place (16:37.8).
Henry Lockwood was the second team member across the line in 74th place (17:32.3), followed by Gunnar Barthel in 95th (17:44.3), Nolan Rach in 139th (18:38.8), Jalen Hinzmann in 140th (18:45.3), Vance Lockwood in 149th (19:18.8) and Gavin Brown in 153rd (19:36.3).
Redwood Valley captured the team title followed by Luverne in second and Cotter/Hope private school in third....
