The Bertha-Hewitt Bears traveled to Pine River to take on the Pine River-Backus Tigers and would win 71-57. Then they would face a very tough Henning Hornets squad and lose 38-74.
In a matchup against the Pine River-Backus Tigers in Pine River, the Bertha-Hewitt Bears were able to secure a 71-57 victory.
The game began with the Bears trailing 12-3, but a pivotal moment came when Preston Miller’s offensive rebound and tip-in initiated a shift in momentum.
Kobe Hinzmann’s defensive pressure resulted in a steal and a subsequent layup, closing the gap. A well-executed play involving Hinzmann, Aidan Bauch, and Zachary Baumgartner brought the score to 12-9....
