Later in the week, the Bears traveled to New York Mills to take on the Eagles, securing a 70-62 victory.
On Tuesday night, the Bears hosted the Pirates in a crucial conference and section game. The Bears started hot, shooting nearly 50 percent in the first half and jumping out to a commanding 13-0 lead before the Pirates called a timeout.
The momentum continued as the lead grew to 18 points, with the Bears ahead 30-12 before the Pirates found their rhythm.
The Bears’ defense created turnovers, and the team made smart decisions with the basketball, leading to high-quality shots.
