Bertha-Hewitt Boys step it up at Perham Harrier Classic Meet

Freshman Brady Rach placed 4th out of 163 runners and set a new school record with a 16:09 last Thursday at Arvig Park in Perham. This time was 12 seconds faster than he had run earlier this year at the Heart of the Valley golf course in Ada.

The varsity boys team also placed a very impressive 7th place in the 29 team meet behind AAA schools Lakeville South, Moorhead, and Bemidji, Class A ranked teams in Perham and Park Rapids and AA school Fergus Falls.

Zane Guderjahn ran his best time of his life taking 63 seconds off his best with a time of 17:21. Preston Miller (Personal Record) PR’s this year running 52 seconds faster. Zach Baumgartner also PR’D with a 17:30, which is 70 seconds faster than his best. Titus Eckel also stepped it up running 18:39 his best ever! . . .
