Bertha-Hewitt boys take second in Staples race

The Bertha-Hewitt Bears Cross Country teams traveled to Staples on Monday August 28 for the Central Minnesota River Run.

The girls 2500 meter junior high race started the day in which the Bears had three competitors.

Aulani Johnson paced the junior high girls (4th - 11:19.21) followed by Eva Blashack (7th - 11:47.26) and Claire Williams (17th - 12:47.61).

The junior high boys 2500 meter race had two competitors for the Bears and was led by Nolan Rach (4th - 9:47.08) and Vance Lockwood (8th - 9:57.12). . .
