Bertha-Hewitt Cross Country Dominates Husky Invite

Last Thursday the Bertha-Hewitt Cross Country team traveled to Madden’s Resort in Baxter and participated in the Husky Invite hosted by the Pillager High School.

The Bears had an exceptional day as many personal records were set. The meet itself was a perfect running day on a very nice course.

The Bears Junior High team won the event with all five girls running well.

Kendra Miller placed first in the 3000 meters run with a time of 12:41.21. Aulani Johnson was second and Aislinn Brown 3rd. Eva Blashack placed 8th and Lydia Brown 12th for the Bears. . .
