Bertha-Hewitt Cross Country finishes strong at last regular season meet

The Bears Cross Country runners last week competed at the annual Ashby – Brandon – Evansville Cross Country meet held at the Pine Ridge Golf Course outside of Evansville.

On the boys' side, the varsity team won their 3rd meet of the year scoring 27 points. Runner-up Ottertail Central had 52 followed by Wadena-Deer Creek with 70. Brady Rach won the race with a time of 16:56 and right behind him finishing second was Junior Zane Guderjahn with a time of 17:29. Preston Miller finished 5th, Zach Baumgartner 7th, Henry Lockwood 12th, and Titus Eckel 14th for the Bears.
