Bertha-Hewitt Girls Cross Country Awards Night

The Bertha-Hewitt Girls Cross Country team had their season-ending gathering last Monday night in the historic Bertha-Hewitt library. After eating an Italian–American meal, the awards were handed out by Head Coach Al Hanson.
After stumbling with a brief introduction and overview of the season, Coach Hanson thanked many who had helped this season be a success.
The first awards were Varsity Athletic Awards given to those who had participated in some varsity runs the past year. Seventh graders Lydia Brown, Aislinn Brown and Aulani Johnson received these.
Varsity letters were then handed out to eighth grader Kendra Miller, Sophomore Ella Banister, and Junior Areianna Bryianski.
Ella Banister was then recognized for being the “Rookie of the Year”. . .
