There’s something vibrant blooming in Browerville—and it’s more than just flowers!
Local entrepreneur Julie Stern has officially opened the doors to BK Blooms, taking over the beloved floral shop previously owned by Lindsey Rinde.
When Rinde announced plans to close the store, Stern—longtime friend and loyal customer—knew she couldn’t let that happen. So, on February 1, 2025, she stepped in and gave the business a fresh new start.
After a brief January closure for cleaning and inventory, BK Blooms (formerly Sprinkle of Joy) reopened with a burst of energy and some exciting new offerings. Not only is the shop continuing its tradition of beautiful floral arrangements, but Stern has added her own fun, personalized touches to make the store a true community hub.
Florals, Flair and
a Splash of Sarcasm
Longtime florists Kayla Asmus and Shannon Kloos have stayed on board, ensuring the floral side of BK Blooms keeps flourishing.
