Browen, Pachan, Bruder and Miron represent LPGE-Browerville at State

The State Wrestling Tournament was February 28 and March 1 at Xcel Energy Center, St. Paul.
Olivia Browen of LPGE-Browerville Wolves put up a strong fight in the 112-pound girls’ division, finishing in sixth place after a hard-fought battle against Allison Weinzettel of Hastings in the fifth-place match. Despite a close contest, Browen fell just short, losing by a narrow 9-7 decision. Throughout the tournament, she showcased determination and skill, proving herself as a formidable competitor in a highly competitive bracket.
Brodie Pachan of LPGE-Browerville Wolves showed resilience and determination throughout the 127-pound Class A tournament. He started strong with a decisive 14-7 victory over Kendall Booker of All Saints Home School in the opening round. However, he faced a tough challenge in the quarterfinals, where Reed Sommer of Kenyon-Wanamingo won by a 13-4 major decision. Pachan bounced back in the consolation bracket, securing a hard-fought 5-3 decision over Sam Roiko of United North Central Warriors. His tournament run ended in a close sudden victory match, falling 5-2 to Cayden Neisen of Staples-Motley.
