Browerville School will lease Clarissa School gymnasium

All members were present for the regular meeting of the Browerville School Board that was held on May 9. The meeting was 44 minutes long.
Actions Approved
• A contract with Jack McCoy who owns the former Eagle Valley School building in Clarissa for two years at a cost of $4100 per month for the two years.
Superintendent Scott Vedbraaten said the district will be fixing some things that need to be done for compliance with the biggest thing being the girls’ locker room.
Vedbraaten, Activities Director Wayne Petermeier and Head Custodian Bill Buhl went through the gymnasium in Clarissa to assess what will need to be done.
Vedbraaten said that they will be playing all home games there as well as holding practices and two phy ed classes per day in the afternoons at the Clarissa facility. . .
