Last Friday, the Bertha-Hewitt Bears Football Team hosted the Brandon-Evansville Chargers for their final regular-season home game. This night was also highlighted by Parents Night, honoring all of the athletes’ parents for their love and support.

It was a gorgeous night for football as the brisk temperatures of fall have arrived. The evening started with announcing athletes and their parents or guardians.

“This is a special night for our athletes as it is so important to recognize what their parents really do for them each day, as a lot of what they do is taken for granted,” said Coach Hoemberg. “I would specifically like to recognize Senior Ethan Wachlin’s father, Charlie Wachlin.
