Clarissa man killed in crash
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Saturday, August 19, at 1:11 a.m., in Clear Lake Township, an Infinity driven by Hunter Michael Buckentine, 23, of Clear Lake, was traveling westbound at a high rate of speed on Highway 10. A Cobalt driven by Lindsey Kay Soiseth, 34, of Lake Lillian, was also traveling westbound on Highway 10.
The Infinity rear ended the Cobalt, pushing it into the north ditch, causing it to roll multiple times.
The Infinity continued on the roadway a short distance before leaving the roadway and crashing into the tree line.
The crash remains under investigation.
Soiseth received non-life threatening injuries. Her passengers, Candice Carmen Pooler, 38, of Clarissa received life threatening injuries and was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital. Jordan Dennis Kramer, 34, of Clarissa was killed in the crash.
Pooler and Kramer were not wearing seatbelts.
Buckentine and passenger Trenton Christopher Michels, 21, of Becker sustained non-life threatening injuries.
Assisting at the scene were the Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Life Link, Clear Lake Fire and MnDOT.
