Cooper found safe
The Todd County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) located Elaina Cooper, 16, on Tuesday, December 8, in Douglas County.
She is in good health and is currently secured in a safe location. The investigation is still active.
Cooper had been missing since August 29. Family members shared that Cooper had run away from her residence in rural Eagle Bend.
A September 17 update from the TCSO stated that a physical ground search of several sections of Burleene Township was conducted by deputies and members of the Eagle Bend, Clarissa, and Browerville fire departments.
The TCSO also had asked the public to keep an eye out for Cooper.
Sheriff Steve Och appreciated all the citizens and agencies that assisted in this investigation.
