Dispatcher/Correctional Officers Karasch and Valley receive award

On October 27, Wadena County Sheriff’s Office Dispatcher/Correctional Officers Jake Karasch and Kevin Valley were recognized at the statewide 2021 PSAP 911 Conference. They were recognized for the “Make a Difference” award for their roles during a critical incident this past year. Karasch and Valley were presented the award at Arrowwood Resort in a joint effort between Minnesota APCO/NENA and the Minnesota Sheriff’s Association. Pictured are Sheriff Michael D.
