Driver injured when car strikes tree
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, on Wednesday, March 5, at 2:32 p.m., a Toyota Avalon driven by Fanchion Marie Guderian, 40, of Browerville, was traveling southbound on Highway 71 when the vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree.
She sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to CentraCare–Long Prairie. Guderian was wearing a seatbelt, and alcohol was not a factor.
Assisting at the scene were the Todd County Sheriff’s Office, Long Prairie police, fire and ambulance.
