• Dean Uselman, city of Wadena economic development director, appeared before the Wadena County Commissioners to ask for county help in his quest to redevelop the space now occupied by the 1912 era former Wensman Seed Building. Uselman said that although the Burlington Northern Railroad owned the land, the building was originally owned by Wensman Seed Company. Later, Ray Crowll operated Wadena Feed Supply at that location. Next, a business called Wadena Ag and Pet Supply was there, and after that, the building was vacant. Uselman did not supply any dates for when these businesses existed.
