Eager egg hunters

The Verndale Lions held their annual Easter Egg Hunt at McNair Park on April 3. Many eager kids participated after last year’s event was canceled due to the pandemic. They had three age groups: eight and older, four to seven, and three and under. The park was split into three sections for each group. Along with the candy-filled eggs, 100 prizes were available. If an egg contained a picture of a bunny, lion, or duck, the winner would go to the corresponding table and pick a prize.
