Eagle Valley Custom Meat Processing stays in the family

There is a somewhat new face at Eagle Valley Custom Meat Processing in Eagle Bend. That face belongs to Mitchell Ahrendt, the nephew of longtime previous owner Aaron Klimek.
Earlier this year, Ahrendt took over the business after spending several months working with his uncle on honing his butchering skills.
Ahrendt joins his cousins—Paige Klimek and Caleb Klimek, Aaron and Kelly’s children—who have been working for the business for the past several years.
Ahrendt said that Aaron was looking for something new in life and was looking to sell the business.
