Eight Raiders heading to State

The Section 6A individual tournament took place last Friday at Wadena-Deer Creek (WDC) High School and the Raiders who captured the team crown a week ago were in search of individual success.

Abby Ervasti had earned her ticket a couple weeks ago and Friday we found out who would join her.

Eli Holmquist set the tone for the day as the 8th grader moved up two weights for competition and opened the day securing his first varsity win.

The momentum carried into the quarterfinals as eleven of the thirteen advanced to the semifinals....
