Garage destroyed by fire

On January 27, at approximately 5:14 p.m., the Wadena County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call reporting a structure fire in the city of Verndale.

The structure/garage was located in the 500 block of Farwell St. N and is owned by Kevin Lee Hanlon, 56, of Verndale. Hanlon stated he was welding in his garage and stopped for the evening to go into the house. . .
