Geezers end season with two losses

The Verndale Geezers finished both of their regular season games on Sunday, June 31, as they hosted the Sebeka/Menahga Relics and the Kensington/Morris Bald Eagles. Their season record was sitting at 3-6.

In game one against the Relics, the Geezers starting pitcher Jeremy Schwartz went the distance for the team but they ended up picking up the loss. They lost to the Relics by a score of 9-2.

Brad Kempe and Rob Hazuka both went 2-3 in the game while Zach Martin hit a double, scoring a run for the Geezers in the sixth inning. . .
