Gode places 3rd and Lancaster 4th at State
LPGE-Browerville Wolves Landon Gode 152# placed 3rd (left) and Trey Lancaster 285# (right) placed 4th at the Minnesota State High School League State Wrestling tournament at the Xcel Energy Center March 4 and 5. Gode defeated Logan Schleske by fall in the first round, lost to Jett Thoreson 10-5 in the quarter-final round, defeated Garron Hoffman 9-2, Logan Kuseske 3-0 and Blaine Fischer 6-2 in the consolation wrestle backs to get in the 3rd place match against Jett Thoreson again who he then defeated 6-5. Lancaster lost to Austin Schlangen in the first round 2-1, then in the consolation wrestle backs defeated Terrell Renne 3-2, Jackson Esping 4-1, Omar Martinez 3-2 and then in the 3rd place match lost to Austin Schlangen 1-0 to bring home 4th place.
