A special meeting Tuesday evening, May 13, lacked a quorum of the Clarissa City Council to vote on vacating a 150-foot-long street. According to the city attorney, it takes a majority vote of the council to vacate the street. At Monday night’s council meeting the council tabled making a decision until the property is surveyed and an alley can be plotted. Dale Foote agreed with the council Monday night to have a 20-foot alley replace the 66-foot street between his and Marilyn Reuses lots.
