The Minnesota Board of Equalization released its 1997 property tax orders changing some assessors’ estimates of market value for use in property taxes payable in 1998, the Minnesota Department of Revenue said. These orders take effect immediately and will change property values for particular local government units by as much as 20 percent. Nearly half of the states' 87 counties experienced no changes. The only change in Todd County is in Clarissa, where residential land and structures increased 10 percent.
