The Eagle Valley students in band and choir from fifth grade through eighth grade held their Fall Concert on Monday, October 27 at the Eagle Valley Elementary gymnasium. Mrs. Jensen, the elementary music director, and Ms. More, the high school music director, guided the students through many songs, both instrumental and vocal.

The sub-section volleyball tournament was played this past week with Eagle Valley playing at home against Osakis. Eagle Valley will travel to take on third-ranked Sauk Centre. In tournament play against Osakis, the Rebels won 3-0, with scores of 15-5, 15-0 and 15-7. The Rebels played one of their best volleyball games of the season against Osakis. It was their best serving percentage of the season with 98 percent.

November 2, 1972
The Clarissa Bucs rolled over Osakis 37 to 6 in their final game of the year. The Bucs were led by the rushing of Jim Miller who gained 135 yards and by Rich Foote who intercepted two Osakis passes.

Our Clarissa youngsters are to be commended for not getting carried away on Halloween eve and causing any amount of damage or destruction.
