Clarissa has three new homes under construction in the Hillcrest Addition on Hill Avenue and County 11 on the south side of town. Mayor Schnettler said it was probably in the 1960s the last time three new homes were built at the same time. This is the third year in a row that three new homes have been built in Clarissa, and three more are being planned for next summer. Twelve new homes in four years is a building boom in any small town’s eyes.
