A Pepsi trailer unhooked from a semi truck while going down the road just east of Clarissa. They are not sure why it unhooked, but felt fortunate it skidded in the ditch and nobody was injured.

On November 4, Eagle Valley volleyball traveled to Brainerd High School for the sub-section championship game. The Rebels lost 1-3 to the number one seed Bertha-Hewitt. The Rebels missed six serves in game three and eight total. The Rebels would like to thank the parents and fans for all the loyal support over the terrific season. They finished 20-5-1 and second in sub-section 5A.

Three Clarissa basketball girls were named by the coaches of the Prairie Conference to the all-conference basketball. They were: Cindy Hayes, senior, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hayes; Judy Burns, senior, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Burns; and Karen Woge, junior, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Woge.

The Clarissa High School choir, directed by Mrs. Don Bain, has been invited to sing a 15 minute ‘mini’ concert on Thursday, November 14, at the fourth annual choral festival held at Fergus Falls Community College.
