A new ordinance was approved setting the curfew for juveniles under 16 to be off the streets between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m. The entire ordinance is published in the legal notices of this newspaper.

Last Saturday, the Rebels scrimmaged in Perham against Underwood, Frazee and Ulen Hitterdal. That night they played Verndale in the Staples Jamboree. It was a strong and encouraging day for the team as they played very well at times and all players had a good chance to work together. They also had a scrimmage on Thursday at New York Mills. This was for final preparations entering our opening game on Saturday at Battle Lake.

The Clarissa Bucs opened their Prairie-Conference season last Friday at Eagle Bend and came away with a 69-36 victory.

The Clarissa grapplers won two more meets this past week for a total of four wins in their first four meets. Their victory was against Belgrade last Thursday: Clarissa 28, Belgrade 22. Their fourth win was Monday evening over Royalton: Clarissa 38, Royalton 21.
