Christmas Day guests of Mr. and Mrs. Marlin Crider were Gayle Miller of Brooklyn Park, Sherilyn Miller of Deer River and Mrs. and Mrs. Brian Crider and family. Brian and family and Gayle and Sherilyn were also Sunday dinner guests there.

Thursday through Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Cook were Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cook, Brittany and Cale of Rosemount and Mrs. Joseph Copeland of Phoenix, Arizona. Dave Lorenz was an added Christmas dinner guest.

50 Years Ago

March 28, 1975

SN Richard Axum has completed a 47 week course in the Russian language at the Defense Language Institute-West Coast at Presidio, Monterey, California. He is now stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base, San Angelo, Texas. SN Axum is a 1973 graduate of the Clarissa High School and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Axum.

Plans are in the making for a mid-winter carnival, sponsored by the Clarissa Choir Boosters on Saturday evening, February 8, at the Clarissa High School.
