Wolf Lake came out swinging at Lakeside Park on Sunday as the Wolf Pack hosted Clarissa in a Hi-10 League contest. The Flyers fell 18-6 in a game that ended after seven innings due to the 10-run rule. The Pack improved to a 3-3 record in the West Division which was good for second place. Clarissa stayed winless at 0-4 in the loop’s East Division.

Presidential academic excellence awards were given to Hannah Skillings, Jacob Lunemann, Melissa Vetsch, Michelle Holt, Josh Motl, Beth Ahrens, Amy Jackson, Philip Birk and Robin Weishair.

Army Private First Class Randy D. Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald R. Anderson of Clarissa, recently received the Combat Infantryman Badge near Chu Lai, Vietnam.

On Saturday, May 29, Spencer Hayes represented the Clarissa High School at the regional track meet at Perham, winning first place in the discus and second place in the long jump.
