The Eagle Valley Volunteers have done many things for the community since they began. Volunteer President Kelly Bican explained they started out as JCs, but it was expensive and cost about $40 per person and those funds didn’t stay in the community. They became the Eagle Valley Volunteers on February 1, 1992. They have done Toys for Tots, Easter Bunny Day at the elementary school, a haunted house each Halloween and they decorate and light the community Christmas tree. President Marion Bergs of the Lutheran Brotherhood Friendship Branch donated $400 toward the community bulletin board.
