This notice is to inform anyone who owns snowmobiles that the following rules and regulations are to be followed when operating a snowmobile. Absolutely no riding on Main Street, however, Main Street can be crossed at intersections. Stay at least two blocks away from any church during services of any type. No riding around town after 9:30 p.m. Under no conditions are snowmobiles allowed to be driven on anybody’s property without permission of the owner.

The Rebels girls basketball team recorded their first victory of the young season with a convincing 56-46 victory at Menahga on Thursday, November 26. Eagle Valley took control early with an outstanding first-half performance. Susie Hayes, with three early field goals, led the Rebels to a 13-10 lead with Menahga hitting a three-pointer at the buzzer.

The polio clinic held at the Clarissa Public School on November 17, immunized 272 persons.

The first drawing for four cash prizes will be made at the Clarissa Village Hall this Friday at 3 p.m. Shoppers have been registering at the local stores during the week. The drawings are sponsored by the Clarissa Commercial Club and a total of $60 will be given away.
