In Focus
There is never enough time in the day to get things done.
I have so many things on my to-do list and it seems there is never enough time to do any of them.
The day the Halloween light show began, I still had some last-minute touches to take care of, such as setting up the window projector. First, I had to move the plants in the window, and then it required I take out the heavy air conditioner. After dealing with that, I found out that my screen for the window was missing. Thankfully, I had a backup. Then I had to track down the projector, get the video on it and wait until it got dark enough to see if it was at the right distance and working correctly. This also required cleaning up the table so I had a place to set the projector.
This whole ordeal was the never-ending domino effect...
Now that the Halloween light show is up and running, I have to focus on Christmas. Problem is, I don’t know what I have for props at the moment as I have inherited more.
What I need to do is go through the basement and start pulling out items, and make a list of said items, as well as take pictures of them. The plan is to do this, bring the item upstairs, make sure they work, and move it all to the garage.
This is easier said than done.
My entire basement is packed full of decorations and it desperately needs to be cleaned and organized. Now that the Halloween decorations are out, and I will be working on hauling Christmas stuff upstairs, this should free up the space I need to clean and organize everything.
In order to do this, I need to straighten up the garage, as it is in a bit of disarray after completing the Halloween show.
The domino effect continues...
Evenings and weekends are quite busy for me and it is hard to get things done. I figured it will be around January before I can get back to my house projects. I apparently don’t know how to just chill. There is always something that needs to get done, and I hate having unfinished projects. There is just never enough time to do them!
